A little about me:
Hi, I’m Joshua McBride, a counseling intern currently working towards my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University. I’m nearing the completion of my coursework and am now focused on fulfilling the internship hours required for state licensure.
My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and personalized. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques, which I blend to address the diverse mental health needs of my clients. With over 20 years of military experience, I bring a unique perspective to my work, particularly in understanding the challenges of trauma, stress, identity shifts, and life transitions.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these obstacles and achieve emotional well-being. I work with clients to uncover unconscious patterns, process trauma, and build emotional resilience. Additionally, I encourage spiritual exploration for those seeking a deeper sense of purpose and connection.
My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can heal, grow, and move forward with clarity and confidence.Hi, I’m Joshua McBride, a counseling intern currently working towards my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University.
